Baking soda is a common household product that is sold under many different names. It has many more uses than you would think, thanks to its amazing cleaning properties. Baking soda hair care is nothing new but it is indeed extremely beneficial.

How to Make Baking Soda Shampoo.


What You Will Need:


You will need clean water, baking soda and either white vinegar or apple cider vinegar.

Baking soda and warm water: 


In a small bowl, mix baking soda and water in a ratio 1:3. Adjust the quantity according to the length of your hair, so if you have a long hair, mix 3 tablespoons of baking soda with 9 tablespoons of water.

How to apply Baking soda on hair: 


Now pour this mixture onto the head and work it into your scalp. Do not rub aggressively, rather massage in gently and let it sit for a minute or two before washing it out with plain water. For Best Result use hot water.

Apple cider vinegar and cool water:


Next, rinse the hair once more using apple cider vinegar. Mix 1 part of it with 4 parts of water. You can add some essential oil to improve the smell. Tilt the head backward in order to prevent apple cider vinegar from getting into the eyes. Tilt the head back and rinse the hair once again.

Pay Attention to the pH Value:


Human hair lies somewhere between 4.5 and 5 on this scale.

Recommendation:


Optimally, you should consider using this natural shampooing method about three times every week.
