1.Hydrotherapy
We generally use a warm or cold compress to treat any pain or swelling but here we are using both i.e., using a contrast hydrotherapy for treating swollen fingers. This will helps to improve blood circulation and reduce the swelling or inflammation.
•Take 2 bowls – one with cold water and other with warm water.
•Soak the affected fingers in warm water for about 3 – 4 minutes.
•Then take out your finger and place it in cold water for 1 – 2 minutes.
•Continue this hydrotherapy for few times till it covers about 15 – 20 minutes.
•Do the same process for 3 – 4 times daily until you get complete relief from the problem.


2.Turmeric 
Turmeric powder is a natural antiseptic herb powder containing valuable properties to heal a wound. It kills the bacteria which causes the inflammation and pain. Mix turmeric powder and water to form a thick paste. Apply this paste on the swelling finger and wrap it in cotton. Wash off applied paste with lukewarm water after two hours.

3.Exercise the Fingers
If your fingers are swollen due to poor circulation, strain or fluid retention, try exercising the fingers to reduce swelling.

3.Exercise causes more blood flow to the area, which stimulates the pressure to reduce fluid retention. Exercise will also reduce strain on the muscles around the affected area.
Flexing your fingers is one of the best exercises to try.
1.Remove any rings before exercising your fingers.
2.Close your fingers into a fist and hold it for 1 minute.
3.Slowly open the fist and stretch out your fingers.
4.Repeat the cycle several times.
5.Do these exercise many times a day.
You can also try hand squeezes with a tennis ball or a rubber stress ball.


 4. Epsom salt
Epsom salt consists of magnesium and sulfate. Skin is able to absorb these compounds without complications.Magnesium relieves nervous system, inflammation, and pain. Boil one cup water with one tsp Epsom salt. Dip the swollen fingers in hot water solution till the water is warm. A solution prepared with common salt also relieves the swelling in case if Epsom salt is not available. Put crushed ice in a cloth and rub it on swollen fingers. This will help to restore the fingers.
5.Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil is abundant with antifungal, antibacterial, and antivirus properties, thus the application of tea tree oil on swollen fingers cure minor wounds and irritation.
